The Las Vegas Bulls maintained their perfect season in Week 6, defeating the Lobos 37-6 at home under head coach Jason Burton. The victory improves the Bulls' record to 6-0 and strengthens their division lead at 3-0. The Lobos, coached by Ivory Roberts, fall to 5-1.

The Bulls set the tone early in the first quarter. Quarterback Garry Griggs connected with wide receiver Morris Whitford on a 77-yard touchdown pass just 16 seconds into the game. The extra point was good by kicker Michael Thomas, giving the Bulls a 7-0 lead. Less than two minutes later, Griggs threw another touchdown, this time a 7-yard pass to Mark Ponder, with Thomas adding the extra point to put Las Vegas ahead 14-0.

The Lobos managed a 31-yard field goal by Bradford Pettus in the second quarter, cutting the deficit to 14-3. However, the Bulls responded quickly, with Griggs finding Kevin Hartshorn for a 5-yard touchdown pass and another successful extra point, increasing the score to 21-3.

Defensively, the Bulls intercepted Lobos quarterback Josef Smith multiple times. Smith threw four interceptions in total, including a 28-yard pick-six by John Kinley early in the third quarter, which extended the Bulls' lead to 27-3. The Lobos were unable to score any touchdowns, relying on two field goals by Pettus.

Offensively for the Bulls, Griggs completed 17 of 28 passes for 217 yards with three touchdown passes and one interception. Running back Morris Whitford added a rushing touchdown and 77 receiving yards. Mark Ponder and Kevin Hartshorn each contributed a rushing touchdown as well. The rushing attack combined for 116 yards and three touchdowns on 36 carries.

The Lobos struggled on the ground with only 11 rushing yards on 11 carries and were unable to convert on any third downs. Smith passed for 236 yards but was hampered by turnovers.

The Bulls also forced one fumble and recovered one, while the Lobos committed six penalties for 48 yards compared to the Bulls' two penalties for 16 yards. The strong defensive and offensive performances enabled the Bulls to dominate field position and maintain control throughout the contest.

With this win, the Bulls continue to lead their division and increase their season point differential to 176 scored against just 46 allowed. They remain a dominant force as the regular season progresses.
