The Millers ownership has fired Head Coach Shane Morgan and Kickers Coach Tony Thompson. Both were reputedly out on the town at late night parties during Super Bowl week. There were also accusations about drugging the punter the night before the game as questions arose as to why he did not show up for the game. "We decided that it was for the best interests of the team and our fans that we make a move in a different direction with respect to coaching". Also, George "Grandad" Brady, General Manager has taken a salary cut and is on probation for next season and will be required to have full eye examination and re-evaluated at the end of the season. There are concerns about his age and the Lou Holtz syndrome. When questioned, Brady responded angrily, "The Millers will be back with a vengeance next season, that is my guarantee, like Joe Willy".
The Millers announced the signing of Terry Martin to the Head Coach position, Martin was previously OC for Chicago and Portland and brings a passing offense preference along with a blitzing defense. Martin has been brought in to right a shaky ship left in the wake of a Super Bowl controversy.
