Player Cursor Hover Ability Suggestion

Not sure if this has been asked already.

But I'd just like to suggest that
PLAYER CURSOR HOVER ABILITY
be added to the suggestion box. It really bothers me when I have a defensive player, mainly my secondary players, who keeps getting burned by the opponents WR's for big plays, not be easily identifiable. Without this feature I'm unable to identify exactly which secondary player it is (if he doesn't make the tackle or get called for a penalty) that is the weak link. With substitutions due to fatigue or injuries players enter and exit the game all of the time so it's tough keeping up with who is exactly on the field during big plays like TDs and first downs given up. If we were able to hover the cursor over each player at any given moment during game play it would allow us to see which players are performing better in coverage and etc... if they have similar abilities. It would just make identifying which players are good or bad at exactly what, so much more easier.

Thanks

Well, you actually can identify him....if you download the game csv file. It is a long way to go about it...and I'm very sure that this (mouse hover to identify a player) was asked by many before. If I'm not mistaken, I think it made it to the roadmap at one stage but seems to have been shelved for some reason or another.

It's an excellent idea for quick identification. I've never really done it myself with all that transpires when one watches a game and then the subsequent scouting for the next one but I suppose a GM could go back now and zoom in closely to figure out where they were beat on big TD plays.

Hover option is a 1 second, oh, wow that guy got burnt bad identifier.

So, Smirt, I think what you are saying is that it is wasted development on something that exists with some deeper analysis by the GM/Coach ? That makes sense to me.

No, I'm actually saying it's an excellent idea because it adds another level of protection. If I had the hover ability as the play was developing I could quickly put my cursor on the defender who got burnt to a crisp and see if that's continuous.

Go to my depth chart and see if I can fix the situation.

As it stands now someone really isn't going to double back to carefully zoom in on each big hitting play for the offense against their defense unless maybe they have 1 MFN Team and can hone in.

Bingo!
This is exactly my issue. It's hard to tell which defender is giving up big plays most often. If the hover ability was available, like in some other games, it would make it much easier to identify which players (mainly CB's) are constantly give up huge plays and adjust the roster accordingly.
